MMC's Pandemic Flu leadership team is carefully watching current swine flu activity in the US and meets daily to discuss the important steps the hospital is taking to address the situation. We are working closely with Portland Public Health, the Maine Center for Disease Control, and the US Centers for Disease Control, as well as reviewing our existing pandemic influenza plan.

Here's are important things you can do:
--Cover your cough and sneeze with a tissue or sleeve
--Clean your hands often
--If you don't feel well and have a runny nose, fever, sore throat, and/or cough, please call your health care provider

--If you planned to visit someone at MMC today, please plan to come when you are feeling better
