After Hours
Visitors who arrive after 8:00 p.m. must enter through the side door by the Emergency Department and check in at the Patient Registration desk.
Children
Visiting children are welcome, but must always be under an adult?s supervision.
Emergency Department
If you are with a patient being treated in this department, you may be asked to step outside while treatment is being given. There is a waiting room directly outside the Emergency Department.
Intensive Care Unit
Because of the high level of patient care in this unit, visitors and visiting times are very limited. Please ask the nurse in charge of the unit for more information.
Medical/Surgical Unit
Generally, visiting hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., but longer visits are possible in special circumstances. Parents must stay with small children.
Obstetrics
Visitors are welcome at any time. However, sometimes it is necessary to limit visits so mothers and babies can get some rest.
Parking
If there are no spaces in the designated patient/visitor parking area, please park in one of the other parking lots throughout the Miles campus.
Restrooms
The bathrooms in patient rooms are reserved for patient use only. Public restrooms are located on the first floor near the information desk.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hospital or on the Miles Health Care campus.
